Melodics will tell you which lessons you can and cannot play based on how many keys you have. Try resetting your transposition settings or try factory resetting your keyboard. Remapping your keyboard in settings won’t help. Most MIDI keyboards have transpose or scale settings that can change what MIDI notes are sent. If your keyboard is triggering the wrong notes in Melodics, it’s most likely because your keyboard’s MIDI settings have been changed. My keyboard is triggering the wrong notes. Check out our audio setup guide for more information. If you can’t hear anything, make sure you have your audio output device selected in the settings tab and your volume turned up. Install this, open the application, and hit a few keys to see if any notes are being registered. To check if your device is sending MIDI, you can download MIDI Monitor (MacOS) or MIDI-OX (Windows).
